Heat lamp broke - what to.do.eith chicks

I nave 4 weeks old chicks - my bulb died on the heat lamp- they are in my house and its 70.Anything more I should do? The are quietly sleeping together and normally when lamps on they run around.like Todlers all night.

Do you have any light bulbs, even a lower watt bulb should work. If not, a water bottle or rice sock warmed in the microwave will keep them warm for a little while, or you could raise the temperature in your house some.

But, since they're quietly sleeping, I would see how they do without the light at all
