Heat therapy for chicken Arthritis? PLEASE HELP!!!!

I posted a bit ago but I got no answers. So long story short, my 2 yr old chicken has arthritis is evert joint in her right leg. She is in a pain med and cartilage supplement. I'm contemplating heat therapy but I don't know exactly how to do it. Any advice? Anything else I could do at home?

Could you not set her up in a crate with a heating pad? Maybe put a towel over it and put it on the bottom of the crate and then put a roost somewhere above so if she gets too hot she can get off the heating pad.
