I just ordered the 9x12 plastic heated pad at Shop The Coop. Com.

    http://www.shopthecoop.com/mm5/merchant … ry_Code=He

It heats to 80 degrees on one side and 98.6 on the other. Although my chicks are cold-hardy, I thought it would be good to have
over the very cold months. Also my chicks seems to shiver still at 8 weeks and it isn't very cold yet.
The Coop told me I can put straw over it, clean it easily, and it has wire over the cord to prevent pecking.

Anyone have any positive or negative experiences with this or similar product?

    Thank you all![IMG][IMG]
