Heavy breathing! Please help!

Good news and bad news. This morning we were giving her medicine and she was breathing and some was in her mouth and she inhaled it. She nearly died. Luckly thanks to my saftey education class i knew some cpr. I was able to control her breathing umtil she was stanle enough to take to the vet. They are doing breathing treatments, and said shes doing a lot better than before.

She was choking for a solid 45 mins straight. And I had to do mouth to mouth to save her, at one point I thought I had lost her. But I kept trying.

Glad you could save her. Really need to learn the safest way to get the meds down the esophagus and that way you avoid it getting in the airway. Otherwise, use the bread method which you said she ate.

Alright after we get her from the vet she'll be hungry, and she wasnt hungry this morning because she ate before. But i will only do the bread method from now on.

Well the other vet is saying to hold off on the neds and instead theyare putting her on breathing treatments.

Today was the first day we let her back outside but shes acting different. When i got home she was standing in one spot, so i went inside and got treats. I threw some and her sister ran to it but she didnt want any. When i gave some to her she didnt eat them. She then found another spot and just stood there.
