Heavy breathing! Please help!

She started breathing differently but it sounds worse. She was struggling for air. We are now at the vet and she's on oxygen. We are waiting for her now. Her crown started to turn purple aswell.

They have xrayed her and found nothing wrong. She is giving us new medication.

Well the vet gave us new medication. This time one is a steroid and the other is the Prednisolone suspension. We are now feeding her it with applesauce. So far so good.

3 years can be considered "old" when we are talking chickens. I know you have had to deal with injury, attacks and loss. You are doing everything you can and have done well. Please don't be discouraged. How many girls do you have left?
