Hedemora Thread

Pics
After spending all last year dreaming of them, Greenfire is no longer breeding Hedemora, so I wondered if anyone here is planning to have eggs or chicks in the next few months? I'm not picky about colors, just hoping for 6 or so with a nice mix of woolie and smooth. Thanks everyone!

Anybody with black skinned hedemora?

Some of mine are black legged. I haven't checked the skin yet though

I've gotten two batches of eggs from mothernaturesdaughter now (first batch was bad post office handling - took five days to arrive). She does excellent packaging and great to deal with. Super clean eggs. Second batch just went in the bator today.

I've just become a member and really enjoyed reading this thread :). I just ordered 20 Hedemora eggs to arrive next week, I'm very excited! The flock I ordered from is very diverse in colors, but one roo and one hen are particularly beautiful I think. Would anyone know what their colours would be called?

Does anyone have heddie pullets available currently? Especially in lighter colors (I have a dearth of black and black/red at the moment). Can take shipments or meet at the APA show in Lima, OH in March if that is easier. Would really prefer Mareks vaccinated animals (would be willing to ship you a whole bottle if you are hatching now for March delivery).
Would also consider hatching eggs or chicks if the parents are lighter colored stock.
