I would, but only because I love roosters and this breed. I don't think it gets quite as hot as NJ here in Vermont, but we've had some rough spells (my greenhouse is an oven, literally) and haven't had any ill birds. My Bielefelders are usually displaying more signs of heat stress than the Hedemora.
Eggs and young birds are fairly easy to come by if you'd like to try for more females.
As for selling, it depends on your local bird market. My extra cockerels are unfortunately destined for meat, but I had OK luck on selling pullets. Selling trios or quads might work well too, I haven't done that yet.
