Although I think that's funny, please tell me you're joking. If you were serious I'd like to take some, but we have two roosters... and one of them is mean... I guess I'm kinda in the same boat as you haha

It is something near a 50/50 chance, it's just that probabilities don't line up all neatly. It's theoretically possible to hatch any number of eggs and still end up with all of one sex or the other.

If it's the only plausible option, don't feel bad about culling the roosters. Better a quick, clean death than having them fight each other and over-mate any future hens.

Don't get too down in the dumps OP, this year 4 out of 5 of mine were dudes. Iv'e rehomed 2 so far and still trying to find suitable homes for the others.
