I will be sure they want him as a pet.Sadly no. Is he a cross/meat chicken aswell if so I'd be very careful of his new home if you find one since some people might just get him to eat him

We have to move in September so I cannot get more chickens. He is a CX.You could get another hen for him
But if he's a CX he will probably develop issues
I hope so. I loved her and did everything I thought was right, but she was born to be a Frankenstein, which is wrong, so wrong. So sorry for your loss. Sounds like you gave her a great life.
She was born to be a meat bird not a pet. They are Heartbreakers, so sweet and tempting to keep as pets. I only raised a few and decided never again.I hope so. I loved her and did everything I thought was right, but she was born to be a Frankenstein, which is wrong, so wrong.
You are right. We all meant well, but I do not know if it would have been better for her to go quickly at a young age, because I think she might have had discomfort with this heart condition. She was born to be a meat bird not a pet. There is a Kaporos rescue group in Brooklyn. They try to save as many as they can from that horrid ritual that happens in October. I do not know why the humane laws do not cover this awful thing.Just curious where did you get them?
I've heard of karapos and have watched live videos of some being rescued in October. It's so horrible and foolish and there's no reason to do it! If you need to find your other chicken a new home maybe you could contact the rescue and see if anyone can take him. It's great that you were able to rescue a few as I wish I could every year it comes around. It's also unbelievable how it's legal to.Kaporos is the name of the ritual where these idiots swing a live chicken over their heads so their sins will go into the chicken. Can they get any crazier!
