Hello I'm Elise Love and I have had chickens for about a year now. I have 8 chickens and 0 roosters. My chickens are Rhode Island Reds.
i have been reading BYC for a few years now, ever since I decided to get chickens again, and I am thrilled to finally be a member. The community is wonderful.
because it is kind of a pressing issue, I'm also going to mention that I posted a question about a hatch I am trying to pull off, I'm on day 16 and having some concerns. https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...r-sac-temperature-the-whole-kaboodle.1336202/
I love having chickens, for me they are a really cozy part of a true home. We had them when I was growing up.
I also like to garden, and do cross stitch.
I have a cat and a dog, and I am studying beekeeping. I am in NC!
