Hello,
My name is Tiffany, I live in upstate NY. My husband and I recently built a coop and run. We picked up our 6 pullets Monday (April 27th). We have 6 chickens currently. They are red stars.
We are very excited to have started this new adventure with our family. We have 3 kiddos, ages 6,4 and 1. They are loving the chickens. We also have two dogs- Darla is a small poodle who is 13years old. She is very interested in the chickens but mainly likes to just lay beside them. Bella is a golden doodle, age 1 year old. She hasn’t had too much time with the chickens are we are allowing them to get used to their new home and she’s a little nuts.
My husband enjoys building stuff and woodworking- hence us building our own coop. I enjoy sewing and crocheting, when I get a free moment to myself.
I learned about BYC throughout my time researching chickens. I figured I should join since we got our chickens and I’m sure I’ll be asking lots of questions throughout this adventure.
