hello and bumpy egg question.

Hi. I'm from Maine and was wondering what would cause an egg to have a bunch of bumps on one end. I will try to upload a pic.

Sally: This is afrequent question lately It is usually caused by a build up of calcium. When chickens are indoors more/less free ranging they tend to build up too much calcium which can cause this. Here is a website with a lot of info and pics about egg issues:
