Hi there everyone! I'm excited to be a member here on BYC! I am new to raising chickens. I got 4 hens last year, I only have 2 of them now. I recently "adopted" a rooster as one of my girls kept flying over to my neighbors to keep him company . I am currently raising 2 week old chicks as well, 4 of them!

Yes i actually think he is a bit much for my 2 girls. Penny1960 suggests 10 hens. Would that be the recommended minimum?
