My advice is to give up the fight now. You want 60 chickens, so go ahead, and get them. You also should get half a dozen turkeys (Bourbon Red), and a mix of a six or so ducks. Trust me, it’s great advice!
For the time being, be sure your BO isn’t lonely. YouTube has videos on making a quick chicken diaper, and when she’s alone, give her a stuffed animal. She also would like CDs or other bird safe mirrors to give the illusion of company.

Hi! Welcome to BYC! Start off with a reasonable number of pullets, no cockerels if possible. Build bigger and stronger than you think you will ever need. Read as much as you can about chicken breeds and coops before you jump in. That's my two cents. Other than that, don't worry. You will enjoy chicken rearing. You'll fall in love with them and have twice as many as you ever intended.
