They are growing like crazy!!! So, I need help positively identifying two of my little critters. I know four are leghorns..definitely. But the buff one was called a "Rainbow" from TSC and the other a "Asian Black?" I think it looks more like a Plymouth Rock, but I am as knowledgeable as a kindergartner when it comes to chicks. I have been giving them water with electrolytes and three days a week I have been putting about a teaspoon of raw ACV in the gallon waterer. I gave them some kale today and they went crazy for it. My daughter gave them an earthworm she found two days ago and I thought it was going to be a damn brawl in there..Someone asked about a coop..I bought the 6-8 coop at TSC, I am keeping it close to my house until they are a little bigger because I can keep the heating lamp plugged in at night if the temperature dips down under 60..It hasn't yet in our area, but it should have already which means it will drop like a rock soon.

Jumping right in is the only way . So only six I wonder how long that will last . You got bunnies . Well believe me when I say chickens hay a way of multiplying without a rooster . Oh I gots to have some of them blue egg layers and then some of them what lays really dark brown eggs . So for your own safety don't look at any pictures every again .

No kidding!! My daughters are already hitting me up for an easter egger..Unfortunately, for the time being, our township will only allow 6..So that is my excuse for not getting more...the only excuse..LOL

I'm not an expert at id'ing breeds but it looks to me like you have a Barred Rock and an Easter Egger. Both are nice, easy going birds...you should like them.
