My name is Asia Edwards. I am currently trying to grow my flock of chickens. Next year I would like to get a different animal but I'm not exactly sure what is a good laid back farm animal. I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys and know more about what you guys do.

I have all buff orpingtons one of them have at little bit of lavender. All 6 of them are hens. Thank you! I will definitely keep you posted.

How old are they? That sounds like a beautiful flock! The lavender orpington sounds interesting! I would love to see a picture if you have any!

How old are your birds? Did you raise them from chicks?
Sounds like you might have a homesteading situation starting up. If you think you’re needing to add something to your menagerie, look into goats. Sweet, and almost as personable as chickens!
