My first time posting, although I've read along for a couple of years.
I live in Redmond, WA and we have a backyard chicken ordinance that varies by location in the City. I have 1 Speckled Sussex (Demelza), 2 Easter Eggers (Sarah Conner & Ellen Ripley), 1 Olive Egger (Elizabeth Swann) and 3 French Black Copper Marans (Rey, Leia & Padme').
I free range the girls during the day; they play well with my boxer, my shiba inu, and the children that come to my house all day long (I provide childcare for 4 families).
I love my girls and they usually come when called, especially if they *think* there are treats for them. And yes, there are usually always treats.
