Hello from Alabama

I do have a quick question... I have a 3 year old bantam hen who went broody and raised the chicks. It has been about 4-5 months and no egg yet. I have tried oysters shells, laying pellets ( not often ), and much more I have checked for snakes and it's all clear. Does anyone know what the problem is or is this normal??

Sometimes the hens can go periods of times without laying. Either that or you have a neighbor that is stealing your eggs lol

There are several reasons why chickens will stop laying...shorter daylight hours, molting, any type of stress, etc. As long as she's healthy, I would guess she'll probably go back to laying soon.
