It's taken almost five years of saving up here in Juneau to buy a home (rather than a condo) and begin our little homestead! This Spring we'll be starting small with a cat, a garden, and ducks!

We already have four (human) children that I homeschool, I lead an outdoor group, and we forage and harvest herbs every year. I'm excited to take another step in our adventure and am blessed to be connected to many like-minded people (Juneau is fantastic) and resources, including this one!

Thank you. :) The farm here (there's only one!) has kakhi campbells and sometimes rouens. :) My dad opened an account for me there for my birthday (so sweet!) so I guess that's where I'm starting!

How wonderful. :) We bought a house near Dredge Lake, so we are tucked back by the glacier. :)
