Well sounds like you have a swimming pool to keep them cool in. my neighbor's son has a plactic turtle swimming pool his chickens swim in to cool off.
Here in NSW it will probably not get much colder than 9 deg C ( about 48 deg F) or warmer than 16 deg C (60 deg F) in winter which is June/July. So its quite nice and never snows and rarely get a frost because we are on the coast.
