Well sounds like you have a swimming pool to keep them cool in. my neighbor's son has a plactic turtle swimming pool his chickens swim in to cool off.

Well, it seems that they have survived the summer heat. How cold will it get in the next few months where you live?

Here in NSW it will probably not get much colder than 9 deg C ( about 48 deg F) or warmer than 16 deg C (60 deg F) in winter which is June/July. So its quite nice and never snows and rarely get a frost because we are on the coast.
