Update: I had an excellent hatch rate from my first time hatching using 3 incubators. :-) I now have 40+ chicks from different breeders from around the country. Hedemoras, Olandsk, Swedish Flower, Svart Hona..... along with a few fun ones: Frisian Gull, Pavlovskaya, Porcelain Leghorn, and Mosaics.... I learned how to vaccinate chicks from my livestock vet, and vaccinated them all for Mereks - I'm glad I know how to do sub-Q injections on chicks now. Needless to say, my summer is filled with updating my fencing and remodeling a big nursery grow shed into a chicken house.
