Hello, my name is Kathy and I am new to this page. I have been a Rooster Mom for a few years but just got my first lil flock of 10 Silver Lakenvelder Hens. They are about 4 weeks old now. I love how funny they are - and so curious. I can just sit and watch them explore their new world. I also have a Leghorn Rooster named Chuck and a Corgi named Wild Bill Pickle.

I pay the bills by being a digital marketing consultant and part time college professor in communication.

Welcome, Kathy! Your "chicklets" are adorable and Chuck is a handsome fellow - is he a "sociable" rooster? We also have a corgi (our 3rd over the years, love the breed!) named Owen Thunderpaws aka "The Corginator" for his very fun "corgitude". Love Wild Bill's name! This is such a friendly, helpful bunch here at BYC; I think you'll enjoy it and there's so much great info. Waving merrily to you from the California Redwoods...
