He has, after all, protected my flock from yet another mouse attack, and with a missing front leg! Surely, he deserves the best.
My brahma pullets and cockerels thank him, but my Sebright mix rooster isn’t exactly impressed. Fortunately, he knows his place: just beneath my ISA hens. At least the bantam hens respect him… a little.
The rest of the clan is inside. PeggySue is a longhaired cat who is missing a back leg. Taz is a very old miniature poodle mix who earned his Canine Good Citizen Award long ago. Sasha is a lab mix who is training to be a service dog.
I’ve learned here for a long time! I look forward to contributing, too!
