Greetings to everyone in the BYC forum, I have been lurking in the hen house for some time but I have not registered until now. My city ordinance is in the process of amending it position of no chickens and allowing up to 12 ladies in Rio Rancho, NM. I have wanted chickens for some time but not wanting to “Run and outlaw Hen House” I have refrained. Being a city kid raised on the East Coast (Pittsburgh) until I was 25 I have no experience with this particular animal but I have long been enamored for some unknown reason.
I have really enjoyed reading everyone’s inputs, questions, as well as successes and short-falls. I look forward to learning from all of you, contributing when I can, and giving everyone a laugh or two along the way… Jeff in NM…OUT
