Welcome to BYC! Good luck with your hen!Iāve been a chicken Mama since October!! I learn new and interesting things everyday !!
So, I have a 5 week old Easter Egger chicken that has an upper respiratory infection. She is breathing pretty heavy and whistling when she breathes. I have been using VetRX several times a day on and around her beak and under her wings and even put a drop inside her beak. I have even broke open a capsule of doxycycline and sprinkled a tiny bit in her water the last few days. I have her isolated in a darker quite room. This is the 3rd day with no improvement at all. Any other suggestions would be very much appreciated!! Iām very worried about her!!
Best of luck with your hen
