Hello, My name is melissa aka CoonLady. I live in elyria ohio, I have 3 chickens and 2 rouen ducks. I am a stay at home wife and I love my little backyard homestead. I have had chickens for over 6 yrs now and just recently gotten the two ducks. I joined to get more information and ideas to make my little homestead better than it is now. my goal is to be able not only have laying eggs but also to have the poultry as well.. I have been working on buliding my little oaises with no pesticides and all natural

Welcome! I'm also in Ohio...very close to WV line. Come join us Buckeye's on the Ohio thread. And there's great info on duck thread as well. I also have both ducks n chickens. The people here are great and very helpful so be sure n take advantage of their knowledge and ask away.
