Hello from South Carolina!

Oh, how I am waiting for the cool down on Tuesday! Gee, to be back in the high 80's would be nice! AC has really spoiled me.
I even have brought the Silkie chicks in the house now. They were just suffering so in the brooder box down at the barn. I think they are enjoying the AC with a heat lamp on. Not hard to spoil these little creatures!

Who said anything abut me putting these little darlings back outside?

DD was holding one while she was watching TV a while ago and told me they can stay in her room from now on. That may change as they get older! They are only 2 1/2 weeks old. But I can see us eating supper at night with the Persian cat and some Silkies on the table with us. Ah geez, why not?

hi! I'm in northeast Columbia!

So far we have 2 RIRs and 2 buff orps. Once my boys come home from staying with my parents for the week I want to get 2 australorps for them.

Welcome sunshineinsc!
So are you more towards Lugoff?
My sister lives in Chapin on Lake Murray. Guess where we spend 4th of July? The fireworks over the lake are beautiful. And swimming after you eat all that juicy watermelon is something else. Gotta wash it off somehow.

I have been thinking of Australorps. And Barnevelders. And maybe............one of each breed that lays a brown egg!

Lugoff is about 20 mins from me.

My sis use to live on the Lake and we would spend the 4th with her. Its been along time though, almost 8 years.

My 10 yr old decided on the australorp but I can't find any around here! I didn't really want to try my luck with baby chicks but it looks like I might have too.
