Hello, from sunny California! c:

Hope that you are prepared because if you do get a duck and then a Drake, look out!! LD had 15 babies in the bushes and I rehomed all to a lady who had a small lake on her land, as our home and land is only 1/3 of an acre. And the drake, poor guy, went with them. Then about 2 months later, I heard a "peeping" noise in the bushes again. I lifted LD up and there was the cutest baby duckling. I picked it up and told it that it better be a duck, not a drake; named "her" Oops. Yes, LD and her daughter and my 2 geese lived a wonderful life.

Get a couple of kiddy pools if you don't have a body of water, and they will have a blast. I really enjoyed all of them. RIP all my sweeties. I miss all of you.

They live for 20+ years. Hope you are young and healthy. :) My 1 female goose lived 22 years and then my gander died of a broken heart 2 weeks after she passed.
