Hello, hello, hello!

Welcome to the flock @NikkiW17 :welcome

It's funny to hear you're having warm weather just like us here in Alabama. But this is a temperamental state- went from 104 in the middle of October to 30s two weeks later. Can you relate out your way?

Thanks for your service! I mean it sincerely- no matter what your field was, every person who has dedicated part of, or most of, their life to serving this country is so important. I'm so glad now that you and your husband have time to raise critters. You have a great little flock going!

Considering you have bunnies, give BYC's sister site called BackYard Herds a look. There are a lot of great rabbit people there who know their stuff. You couldn't have picked a better place to expand your poultry knowledge though than right here. If you can't find it in searching old posts, post about it yourself! There's helpful and knowledgeable folks here always willing to answer any questions.

Oooh Lordy can I ever relate to that! Yep, we went from the 110s to the 80/90s down to 68 today and a heck of a ton of rain last week. Rain after August is very rare here...I lived in TN for a long time!! I miss living out there for sure, but my life here is a million times better. And thank you for your support. I loved being in the Army, I was sad to leave but! Sometimes there’s a new chapter to enter.
