Hello Helpy-Helpertons! Newly adopted breed ID?

Just had a very nice older gentleman gift me some chickens. What do we have here? (I know there is a buff orp and an EE - but are there different types of easter eggers?)

They are gorgeous! I don't know what the top ones are. You definitely have EEs and a Buff Orpington.
EEs are basically just mutts. They are a combination between an Americauna or Araucana and any brown egg layers. So, no there are not different types of EEs, but there are all sorts of different colors you could end up with.

Thank you! Those top girls are funny, they do everything in unison like twins. The buff to brown faded one in the bottom isn’t an EE, but I have no idea what she is. I have buff orps but mine look so red compared to these. Wish Covid wasn’t a thing because I might try to put one of these girls in a show ️

I'm no expert, but they might be Silver-Laced Wyandottes -- IMO the most beautiful hens on earth.

Top ones are Silver Laced Wyandotte (SLW).

Not sure about the far left light colored one - those white legs, and not sure what kind of comb.

Middle - EE

Far right - also unsure. For those Right and Left ones, try getting a full side shot while they are standing and under regular light, or at least position them to minimize shadow. Put them on a board or fence rail to get a full on side shot.

What’s she look like now? She does appear to be a buff Orpington cross.
