Hello,
I live in Gilroy and work as a real estate agent with Keller Williams. The South County is where I feel home - close enough to the major Silicon Valley hoops but also located in a rural area where the kids still know that milk does not grow at Safeways. Although living here for the past 13 years, I just recently became a US citizen. As a thank you for the country that has become my home, I donate a percentage of every successful real estate transaction to Dreampower Horsemanship in Gilroy so that they can continue to provide free therapy to veterans with post traumatic stress disorder. Every referral helps me to help our veterans.
One of the many things I love in Gilroy is that they allow you to raise a couple of chickens in your backyard.
My granddaughter wants to join 4H. We bought 2 Easter-egger chicks and one Rhode Island Red for her to raise, last week. They are in the brooder now for six weeks before we take them out into the chicken coop. I love having them, and they are fun to watch. My husband installed a webcam so that we can watch them. I am new in that. Any suggestions for a rookie? Thank you!
