Here where I live in SW Ohio, you have to have 5 ACRES to even own poultry (legally), though I know many people who are keeping stealth chickens on much less than that in this "semi-rural" town.

I have had to change laws, in favor of chicken ownership several times! (Just get the mayor drunk):old

i'll definitely push. Nothing is stopping me from having the chickens because I am on 5 acres, but I know esp in these times, food security is important and these are silly laws/ordinances. Was it in the 1920's when everyone had a cow, chickens and a veggie garden in their yard, no matter what size?
