Hmmm... I guess I can say that I'm not a hatchaholic either... Being a hatchaholic would mean that there was a problem... I have egg, I have an incubator, no problem!!!! Nope! No hatchaholic here!

I have been incubating since November in 2 incubators but last month I borrowed someones incubator so I had 3 going. So afterwards, I gave back the borrowed incubator (after the hatch was complete) and I packed up the 2nd incubator after that hatch was complete. I have one more hatch due this thursday. BUT GUESS WHAT ????? I am getting ready to get my 2nd incubator out and set more eggs tonight possibly. I keep saying I am done with incubating for now but I just can't seem to stop

Maybe just one more time then I can retire both of the incubators.

My name is Sheila, and I am a hatchaholic.

I have only 2 bators, and I was SO tempted to buy a cabinet one, but the high price persuaded me not to. Then a sale came up for silkie chicks and a great deal, so I thought perhaps I could buy a 3rd bator for that, but the DH said no. He gave me all the solid reasons why I should save the money, and just rely on the Orp broodies, and I know I had to practice some self-control, so I haven't bought it yet. YET.

I'm being a good person and holding myself back, but we'll see how long that's going to last.

I did it.. I bid on some more eggs.. lordy!!

I am about to check the incubator to see how much room I have (the answer is NONE at the moment!) and when I will have it. I am TERRIBLE.. I have them double stacked in one row.. they will move into the open spots when the first eggs go into Lockdown.. plus I keep adding an egg here and there to test my new Buff Orpington rooster.. validating ..

I will NOT be buying another incubator but am thrilled to have the new used one at an exceptional price to use as a hatcher..makes my life so much easier...

off to count egg spaces..
