Hello! I am posting this because that's what the instructions said to do lol!
I just recently acquired 4 chicks (yesterday) and 2 ducklings (today). I've never raised any kind of farm animals, though I am an avid animal lover. I've raised cats, dogs, and my 3 children (do they count as farm animals? ).
Thank you in advanced to everyone who will be answering what I'm sure will be my 1000s of questions!

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Do you have your coop and run ready to go?
Thank you!
I have a brooder (a very large tote) with 2 feeders, waterers, a small roost, some small toys, and plenty of room.
No coop yet, the lady at TSC said they are going on sale before the babes are old to be outside and that I should wait.
I tried to upload a picture of the brooder but it kept saying error?

:yesss: :welcome :yesss:
Miss Piggy Sue says, “Welcome to our eggcelent flock here at BYC!” and I say don’t waste your money on a prefab coop as they are always too small. Chickens need 4sqFt per bird.
