Marsticket
In the Brooder
Hello Hello!
My screen name is Marsticket (actual name being ASH) from Australia!!!
I currently have a very spoilt 26 member mixture of hens, pullets, cockerels, un-sexed (at the moment) and 1 very happy rooster (donated by my partners pop, breed unknown but very flash looking boy)
If you had ask me to go near a chook 12 months ago you would have got a laugh and stern 'I don't think so!' and you wouldn't have been able to pay me to touch one! However since my chicken-loving-friend decided to gift me 3 'pullets' (at-the-time, however turned out to be 1 pullet and 2 cockerels) and since then just fell in love with their quirky-ness, conversational skills, eggs (of course!) and just everything about them!
I have Xbreds, 2 BLR wyandotte chicks and 1 coronation sussex (this is what I am most favourable of and would like to eventually have a lavender/coronation flock)
I also have 3 horses which I have shown, but have not been back in the ring for quite a while, and this is leading me to be interested in attempting to show poultry.
