Hello , Sunshine Farms here we are having an issue with one of our hatchlings just a few days old

And she is laying down for the most part but she is responding much better ! :ya
Okay, good, improvement in any amount is a good thing. Did you get her from a hatchery, feed store or hatch her yourself? If you hatched her yourself, where did her parents come from? I have had many bad experiences from 2 different hatcheries with babies. Definitely keep giving her as much water as you can, get those vitamins and electrolytes going asap and water her feed down so that it's basically brown water for today, tomorrow you can add a little more food to "thicken" it just a little, make sure there is regular, dry food available should she decide to eat on her own. I will wait to see the picture (s) to suggest anything else.

We hatched her ourself from our breed of Australorps .
And okay sounds like a plan to me I will have to go to walmart today and see if if I can find anything for chickens vitamin electrolyte wise .. We usually do not have many issues with our hatchlings , But we recently switched to a new incubation setup and are still working out the tweaks ! :highfive: I will continue to push brown feed water in the mean time ! Thanks for the great advice :woot:thumbsup:frow

Absolutely! you are welcome. It's highly likely that wal mart will not have the vitamins and electrolytes, do you have a feed store like Tractor Supply Company or Orscheln's or Big Bear or something like that? They would have it.
Edited to say: Also, please keep in touch with me on this! I would like to know how she progresses.

Yes we have a feed store right down the road !
Im not sure if they have them but I will certainly check ...

Thanks so much ! :love:highfive:

I believe some folks have used Pedialyte in case of emergency and they were unable to find the chicken electrolytes in their area. Nutri-drench is good to have on hand for situations like this, you can order it on Amazon, it's not expensive for the little bottle. Good luck, sounds like she's making progress!
