My name is Barbara, I'm 63. My son is 35. My son just started keeping chickens. I'm an animal person thru n thru and I research what I don't know. I don't know much about chickens!!!! I don't live with my son but I do go to his house daily to babysit his gf's 2 year old daughter. And of course I watch and care for the chickens. One of the chickens recently became ill with fowl pox. Nacho was a beautiful Orpinton...a buff. I did all I could but she sadly died in my arms on friday. I have dogs and work with Renegade Paws Rescue. I live in Savannah Ga...originally from Massachusetts. Hoping I learn lots about chickens here. So far I am impressed with the site! Thank you all who have helped me with Nacho.
