I've been lurking for a while and only started to post recently. There is a ton of good information around here and I hope to be able to add to it in a year or so. I am new to chicken keeping though I am loving my three hens Matilda (silver laced Wyandotte), Mallyumpkin (blue Wyandotte) and Chocobo (Buff Orpington). They are eight'ish weeks old and moving out into the coop this weekend. I live in Snohomish/Monroe WA in the PNW and with my dog (Rotti/Retriever mix) and roommate .

I don't really know what else to say besides 'hi again!'

Just watch the dog please, they think chickens are squeaky toys, and go from one to another until none of them are squeaky anymore. They tend to love chickens in unhealthy ways.

In a predator survey on BYC I believe dogs (running free or the person's family dogs) end up killing chicks more often than raccoons (in 2nd.place)
