G’Day from down under My speckled hen :frow Welcome!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

Do you have any feathered friends at the moment or looking to get some? If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

After a bad period in our lives, my husband, while having a sook, built me a super sized chook pen with 2 large runs. Hacmve since gone a bit chook crazy after i git told to 'fill ut up' and so have 28 laying (one i have discovered is a rooster!), 10 'teenagers' a mix of pure and x belgian duccles and 3 on heat which are frizzles.......which is why i joined, as 2 are straight and 1 has the frizzled wings......have found out since its to do with genetics......fewwwwww bit long winded!
So much to learn......
