I was here about a year or so ago when I first got chickens. Then I dropped out because I had back problems and back surgery last June. The I just move last month to the Red River area in Texas. So now Im back. I will try to stay in touch. Still working on the move some but will keep in touch. I have 6 hens and 1 roo and 1 large cadellac of a coop that my husband and I made

It's definitely better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.
Also, make sure your coop(s) have a proper amount of VENTILATION. (https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...-there-and-cut-more-holes-in-your-coop.47774/) Your chickens will absolutely thank you for it!
