Howdy, and welcome. It's a nice little drama free place to get advice and share ideas.Hello, chicken people! I raised a batch of 26 meat bird and they are now in my freezer, and I have finally gotten going with my layers and four turkeys. They’re all little bitty birds still, about 3 weeks old, but growing fast, and full of delightful, nonsensical antics! The chicken knowledge of the hive mind here is incredible.![]()
and Welcome to Backyard Chickens.
to have you here with us. Enjoy your time here at BYC!
I don't raise any chickens for meat, but there is the occasional culling of a rooster that needs to be done. In that case, I do the raising and spoiling and my husband does the processing. I just cannot.
