(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

• Yes! I was gifted 3 hens in July, then last month I was gifted 9 hens, then I bought 5 chicks LOL I'm addicted!!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

• 15 ( I re-homed 2 of the 9 as they weren't getting along with my first 3)

(3) What breeds do you have?

• unsure about all of them, but I do have mixes and what I believe to be EE, and I have a couple RIR, and the 5 chicks I have are Partridge Chanteclers.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

• They are so fun to watch and are soooo funny!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

• crafting, hunting, fishing, enjoying cabin life, grandparenting

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

• I'm married, we have 2 daughters, 2 grandsons, 2 german shepherds

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

• found it doing google search on Partridge Chantecler chicks just this week!

Hi....they are better then we expected, they are curious, but they haven't chased any...yet. We don't leave them alone with the chickens, they are only around them when we are there.

Hi, thank you!..yes, I'n in Northern Canada (Labrador) so we have cold, snowy winters.
