Same with my silkies! First show is in May and they have just started to molt, you would think a fox had had a visit the amount of feathers on the ground there is! Finger crossed they are all done and well feathered for May

Exact same! It looks like a chook has been killed in their, but no, just molting feathers (it was summer, now autumn, so they gotta molt then grow new warm feathers). (I am also an Aussie, so yeah, gets hot here!).

Edit: Also who is an Aussie here?!
