Hello lovely chicken keepers! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as a new member to this group. I hope to learn lots of great things from y'all
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am brand new to chickens and just got my first chicks about 2 weeks ago
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 4 chicks
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have 2 Delawares and 2 Golden SexLinks
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
We hope to have lots of eggs and maybe keep the critters out of the backyard
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I play roller derby when I am not working
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I will be married soon to an amazing man, I have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. We have a chocolate lab named Molly
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
BYC came up in many of my google searches and I thought this could be a great resource as we are just starting our chicken journey
