So wth. Lol arnt rhode islands aggressive? And do they lay a high volume of eggs?

RIR rhode Island Reds are a Great Hen ! Very prolific Egg Layers ( Brown ) One of my favorites. They can get a little mouthy if your taking their eggs.. And some times a Roo can be a bit aggressive but I find that with most Breeds. I am actually segragating three RIR and a Roo now to get more Eggs as I want more !! ~ Corinne Red stars etc are similar ..

Hi and from Ohio. So glad you joined. I don't know how they could have messed up a Barred Rock. It is not even close, but it will be a good egg layer as well.

Yeah I agree, it looks like an RIR. My sex links looked a little different from that. But anyway, they are pretty sweet birds, and definitely quite hardy...
