Hello everyone! I live outside of Lubbock, TX and I am new to the BackYard Chicken. I currently am getting started with a pair of show quality RIR bantams but I am looking for someone who might have some show quality Standard Cochin eggs that I could hatch out or young chicks. Thanks :)

Glad you joined us. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. This website has been a great asset for me. I love my RIRs. I used to have a partridge cochin. She was wonderful

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

So glad you could join our community! You might start in our Buy Sell and Trade section in the hatching eggs section or chicks section. Maybe someone has some for sale....https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/67/buy-sell-trade

You might also do some chatting in your state thread. Maybe someone nearby breeds these birds....https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/44/texas

And stop by the Cochin thread too. Maybe someone there and hook you up with some hatching eggs or chicks...https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/195235/cochin-thread

Good luck and I hope you can find this wonderful breed!

We're glad to have you.

I hope you can find some good Cochin eggs! I'm not aware of any large fowl Cochin breeders, so I can't help you out personally. Hopefully, somebody in the Buy-Sell-Trade section can help, or people on your state thread!
