HELP! a movealbe lump in the neck=throat??

I've got a gander I raised from a gosling. He has a large cyst on his neck that seems to be getting larger ( it's huge) he's had this thing for about 4 months now. Should I try and drain it?

It's very soft. It giggles when he walks. Is it safe to lancet it?

Are you certain it's not something that *should* be there like the Dewlap?

I'm going to lancet it as soon as I can get someone to hold him. It's been going on now for 4 months and is just getting bigger.

I thought it was.
I don't know much about Ducks or Geese so finding a diagram and additional information is helpful, and I get to learn something new (Daily!).
