Just had a total fail. hen sat 25 days on 14 eggs and I finally called it off today. I had been looking about every five days at the eggs and notice under the flashlight in time they darkened. I saw no visible veins defined and I only hoped there was development. never saw movement either, but didn't detect and odor at all.

I concluded that either the eggs got too cold before she decided to sit or my young cockerel is a dud...lol!! Can anyone help me?

I will try again later as my hen thinned through the process and I need her health. She Is a good one. She comes to me when I call her and starts talking when she hears me come home in the evening. Heck, my dog don't do that.

Open a few of the eggs, or all of them, and see if they ever started developing.
You can check yolks when you make breakfast to see if your boy is doing his job.
