eggs can be up to one week old. after that, they lose a lot of viability. best would be 2 or 3 days old. the eggs should be the same temp as chicken's eggs, no less than 99 F, but no more than 101 F. note that hotter eggs hatch a day early, and colder eggs a day late. the eggs will need turned regularly, at least 3x per day. this should be done for the first half- the first 3/4 of incubation. this keeps the babies from getting stuck to one side of the egg and dying.has anyone ever hatched quail eggs with a light bulb? how hot do the eggs need to be? how old can the eggs be? any advice is VERY welcome
