Sounds like you have a GFI receptacle. Yes., push the reset (should be the red button). It should work then. If I does not work then it has failed and should be replaced.

Unplug the cord outside, then press the reset button. Then take a lamp outside and plug it into the receptacle to make sure it is now working.

YAY! I discovered the outlet with the light on was in another bathroom. lol Which is why I didn't see it in the first place.

As far as the outlet out on the deck, it doesn't have a reset button or a light. BUT, since the others work now, it stands to reason that perhaps it will work now? BUT!! What if water gets in there again? It will blow again.. Is there a weather resistant extension cord I can get at like Lowes or something??

Thanks so much, Marty!! You have nO idea how much I appretiate your help.

The outlet on the deck won't have a reset, it will be in the bathroom. It should work fine once you reset it. If it does not work then it needs to be replaced. I my opinion I think they are junk but the code says you have to have them.

You're certainly welcome!!! That's what WE are all here for. Chicken folks are the best, I don't care what anyone says!!!

hoping everything works out for you sometime I hate electrical stuff like my whole house was on one circuit, including the washer and the whole kitchen. I am so mad some days thanks goodness my DH has been slowly rewiring the house so most of the time I don't blow the circuit but still gets annoying maybe you could leave the 2 little ones in the house all night and when the weather clears try something else how old are your bigger girls and what is the temp there

just for hanging in there
